Nollywood Actress, Moji Olaiya Buried Amid Tears
The corpse of renowned Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya, was today, Wednesday, buried at the Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi Cemetery, Lagos, amidst tears and encomiums.
The final internment of the deceased who died from cardiac arrest in Canada last month was attended by many Yoruba filmmakers, actors and fans.
The remains of the deceased arrived Nigerian via Murtala Mohammed International airport Ikeja on Tuesday. This was followed by a night of tributes where attendees spoke glowingly of the life of the late actress.
It was learnt that a former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu and a chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo, contributed financially to the burial with the latter paying for the parcel of land where the Nollywood actress was buried.
Among those who attended the burial are the eldest daughter of the deceased, Adunola Odutola, Fathia Balogun, Foluke Daramola-Salako, Bimbo Thomas, Mide Martins, Iyabo Ojo among others.
